I have over twenty-five years’ experience working with children. I ran my own home daycare for nine years, worked in a daycare facility for three years, and was a Head Start Preschool teacher for thirteen years in both South Dakota and Nebraska.
I completed my CDA certificate in 2007, and achieved my associate’s degree in early childhood education in 2013.
I got started working with children at an early age while working as a nanny in the Philippines, and started my home daycare so that I could stay home with my children when they were young.
What I love most about teaching young children is how they learn and grow every day, and we as teachers, help them learn through play. I love to sing and dance with the children, and create a fun, loving environment for them.
I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I have lived in a few other states before moving here. Infants/Toddlers are my favorite ages. I have also worked with Pre-K. I have my Infant/Toddler associate in Montessori. I am married with two daughters.
